Darn Internet!!!

Don't ya just hate how much you rely on the internet? It goes out for 24 hours, and I feel like I am missing something...LOL! I constantly use the internet to check message boards and look up phone numbers and other information. Someone came to our door selling encyclopedias one day. I told them no thanks, because I can find 100 times more information on the internet for cheaper...LOL!

Yesterday I was a BUM! I was SO tired all day. I took a 3 hour nap and still could barely keep my eyes open! Around 5pm I dragged myself off the couch to exercise, at least. It was like I had no energy. I finally seemed to get SOME energy at the end of my 3 miles. Figures. I found out the culprit. Good ol' Aunt Flo stopped by last night. Anyone else get EXTREMELY tired around that time of the month?

I did well on New Year's Eve. I had a little bit of what sounded good. I was probably 2000 calories tops for the day! Even better, I was back on track yesterday. I think I found it easier to get back on track because I premeditated how much I was going to eat at the party. I didn't let myself eat more than I planned. Go me :o)

Day 7 (Yesterday) -
-----------------------------------------
-5pm- 3 miles run/walk
-Was around 1750 calories


Today was a boring day. I am still tired. Today was the last day of the boys' winter break. The three of us just hung around the house. I watched an UGLY BETTY marathon. LOL Then, we went bowling with a friend and out to dinner. I ordered a blackened chicken wrap with rice (instead of fries!!!) I ate the wrap and half my rice...even though I could have easily eaten it all. I am not quite sure how many calories I had, but I had 750 left for the day so I think I am ok.

The backs of my lower legs were REALLY sore today. It is a painful sore, not sore muscles. I am pretty certain it is just still pain from my surgery/compartment syndrome. I took today as a rest day being that I couldn't get much in anyways with my husband having 24 hour duty at work. I figure I will do the elliptical tomorrow to give them an extra day off. I am still dreading the gym and hope it is not to busy. They only have 3 elliptical trainers and I have a feeling they will all be full thanks to New Year's. I don't really care how busy they are, as long as one of those are open. LOL

Day 8 - Rest day, 1750 calories or so???

P.S. Several times today, I checked my resting heartrate as several people on Runner's World seem to do. It is better than I thought.....always about 60bpm. Not to bad for a fat chick...LOL

Aunt Flo....Never met her (Yippee!) I think it was Marathon Journey that told me about FitDay.Com, might want to look at it, it's a free food/exercise tracker that counts everything for you and provides a link you can add to your blog.

Awesome! I like the way you push yourself in getting out there and watching what you eat. I often have to drag myself out to exercise to but I wish I could watch what I eat more just like you. Wait....I do watch what I eat as I am about to put it in my mouth. LOL :D
