I went to the gym today for a treadmill run. I did 4 miles, which included a 5min warm up, in 50minutes. I felt pretty good. I probably would have done more than 4, but I had a photo shoot for the newspaper to do today. Even now, I feel like running some more! I did manage to accidentally hit the STOP button on the treadmill, one mile into my workout. LOL Not sure how I managed that!
I was thinking, in the past, I would have scrapped my workout for the day since I had something to do this morning. I am really starting to feel like this is routine versus something I have to fit in.
After I had finished, there was a lady a couple treadmills over that asked me if I live in the neighborhood that I live in. I told her I did and she said she sees me running all the time. :) She said that it looks like I have lost a lot of weight since she moved here in November. It is so exciting when someone notices!!!
Tonight is my 3yr old's first soccer practice. I am so excited and so is he. His big brother played last year, and we would have to physically restrain our youngest from running out on the field! He has been asking to play for more than a year, and he is finally old enough! He is going to be the cuuuutest little soccer player. I think I will bring my camera and take some pics tonight.
Trouble. I have to admit I have had a hard few days with my diet. Saturday night was the party, last night we had a great steak, and tonight we had McDonald's. Yesterday I probably wasn't TOO far off, but Saturday and today were awful. However, this is the first time since December I have splurged at a restaurant. Tomorrow, I am back to jotting every little calorie down. I am going to try and be good (no splurges) until Feb 10th, my oldest boy's 5th birthday party! I feel embarrassed and disappointed in myself. I want to keep in mind how awful I feel right now so that I can remember it the next time I think about slurging more than once in a week.
Day 35- 4 miles in 50min + cool down.
(4.32 miles, 51min according to Nike+. I really should recalibrate it!)

Isn't it a great feeling when someone comments that you look like you've lost weight? Yaaay!
So are you going to share with us bloggers what the newspaper article is about????
Eating out -- or grabbing fast food on the go -- is what kills my diet every time. Hang in there!
Yes, it's always great when someone notices. Today a co-worker buddy asked if I was still "dieting" (not my choice of words, just eating healthier) because it looked like I was gaining weight. It was funny (I'm a guy), but it's still not the kind of thing you want people to point out. Ha! I said it was because I haven't run in almost 3 weeks, which is very true. But I did finally get on the scale today, and I've maintained my weight since I stopped running (about 198'ish).
