Anyone know why this is? I find that exercising totally makes me lose my appetite, which is a GOOD thing...LOL. Tonight, I ate the 2nd half of my Subway sandwich I had for lunch, and was SERIOUSLY wanting to munch on something else. Instead, I knew I needed to get out of the house so I took the boys on a walk to the park. It wasn't much exercise, only a 1 mile brisk walk with a 20 minute break at the 1/2 mile mark. However, now that I am home I feel SO full. I almost feel like I overate! When I run in the evening, the same thing happens to the point I have to force myself to eat something at dinner. What confuses me, is in the mornings exercise makes me even MORE hungry.
This morning, I skipped the treadmill and ran on the path on base with one of my good friends. She is a certified personal trainer, and in great shape. We ran the first mile, before walking, and I ran it 45 seconds faster than I usually run. Honestly, I am not sure I like running with another person. I used to run at a 10min/mile pace, and followed suggestions to slow down a bit and push for distance. It was hard to run at my pace when running with her...LOL. However, at the end of the 5k, she did help push me to the end as I was getting hot and tired. She had me keep step with her legs, and that seemed to help. I ran all but about 1/2 mile of the 3.22mi. If I were to run in a 5k race, I know she would be the one to run it with me.
I'll leave you with a cute video of my boys. The oldest is 4, and decided to help my youngest, 3, get a drink of water. When he was having trouble lifting him, he got creative!!! I thought it was HILARIOUS and I am so glad my camera was in my purse!!!

Well, that's a much more "family-friendly" video than the 'Hoff. (not that I'm complaining)
Cute kids. :)
What a sweetheart your 4 year old was to his little bro! Aaaaaw!
