Piece of cake ;o)

I did it!!!
This morning, I set out to conquer my 2 mile run without stopping. Let me say, I was SOOOOO nervous last night and this morning. I had butterflies in my stomach!!! It was like I was preparing for a big test. Everything had to be just right...LOL

I did a short warm-up, then reset the treadmill and started running. I was at 1.5 miles when I first started to feel a bit tired, and checked to see how far I had ran. At about 1.75 miles, I stepped up the tempo and finished strong.

2 miles in 22:28 (11.14mile/min pace)

I walked until 25:00 and was going to run to 3 miles. I took a few steps and stopped. I pissed my blister off today! I went to the elliptical and could only do .5 miles thanks to the blister.

Oh well, I ran 2 miles!!! I can't belive how EASY the first mile was. Big difference from 3.5 weeks ago when I started running. (I have only been eating right for 2wks)

.............
My new iPod Nano came today!!! I was advised not to run with my iPod Video. Just as I was warned, I started having issues with it getting stuck on and cutting off! The Nano seems SO small compared to my video. The Nike+ should be here anyday too. Fun toys.

Tomorrow is my pre-op appointment for my knee. I think I may do my first weigh-in as well to see how much I have lost over the past 2.5wks. I am very nervous for both!!! Wish me luck!

Day 17 - 2.5 miles
------------------
8am: 2 mile run in 22:28
.5mi on elliptical, level 6
Regular PT strength training minus calf raises (blister hurt too much!)
