Wednesday was my little one's first soccer practice. He was SO adorable in his soccer clothes. It is a Under-6 team, and he is only 3.5yrs old, so he is one of the youngest on the team. The picture of him is from Wednesday.

Thursday, I ended up going on a hike instead of a run. Tarzan Falls is about 5 miles from my house. It is a 2.8 mile round trip hike, with a 300ft change in elevation. It is the 4th time I have done this particular hike, or 'boonie stomp,' as they are called on Guam. The running has really paid off because I wasn't nearly as tired afterwards and even contemplated going for a run...LOL! I took the pic of the main falls for you all, who are freezing cold, to be jealous of.
Today, they shut off the water treatment system. The Navy has their tank full of clean water, but once that is gone, it is GONE and won't be refilled until Monday or Tuesday. So, everyone is on mandated water conservation for the weekend. I am hoping we don't run out of water, but I am expecting it. Just in case, I did a 4 miler tonight since I won't be able to get my run in tomorrow as my husband is working 24hrs. Also, I don't want to chance not being able to shower...LOL.
I calculated my miles for January. I ended up with 67.92 miles for the month of running/walking!!!!! Pretty good for my first 1-31st month, I think.
Day 37- Rest Day
Day 38 - 2.8 mile hike w/ 300ft elevation change
Day 39 - 4.0 mile run/walk in the neighborhood, 50:47

Cute kid, they are funny playing at that age because it's one mass scrum to the ball, nobody in any kind of position... ah those were the days lol.
No water? That sucketh:) Especially in a place that is typically so warm I can't imagine not being able to shower whenever I felt like it, Yikes.
If I lived near that trail with that gorgeous waterfall, I'd hike it EVERYDAY! I know Guam is HOT and STICKY, but it sure looks like a beautiful place.
