I cheated

I cheated. I couldn't handle it. I caved under the pressure. I weighed in today. I am very happy with my progress so far. I have officially lost 22 pounds!!!!!!! I am only 3 lbs away from my first 25lb goal! Now, I am going to put the scale away to my original planned weigh-in of April 1st. At least now I can stop doing calculations of how much I think I have lost, in my head. LOL

This is also the least I have weighed since we have lived in Guam!!!!!!!!!! It is the least I have weighed in about 2.5 to 3 years. No one here has seen me this 'skinny.' LOL

What is working this time around? For one, I have only messed up two days. By messed up, I mean going over my calories other than my weekly free meal. Those two days were the Superbowl and my son's birthday. Not too shabby.

Also, my "Reason a Day to Lose Weight" journal is awesome. So far, I think the reason that means the most to me is, "So Andy can buy me whatever jammie pants he wants for Christmas." He told me that is what he wants to get me for Christmas. He wants to get me pretty ones. He will have a MUCH MUCH bigger selection if I am a normal size. I am not sure why this one means the most to me. I've got a long list of good reasons to lose weight.

Not-so-exciting news is that my posterior tibial tendinitis started nagging me again yesterday. :o( I think it is from the hills I have ran this past week. I am going to skip the hills until the pain goes away again. Then, I will only try hills once per week.

On a sad note, please say a prayer for Eric's step-dad. We just found out he is in the ICU and they don't know what is going on with him. He is on a breathing machine. We are on the other side of the world from them, which makes this so hard.

Friday - 5mi (4mi walk w/ Britt, 1mi walk/run alone)
