I did NOT want to go to the gym today. Last night, while walking the dog, my calf started cramping up. It bothered me the rest of the evening and made it hard to fall asleep. I tried using my blisters and cramping calf as an excuse to skip the gym. I went anyways. I told myself that if it hurt too bad, I could come home.
I was going to make myself do 3 miles. Of course, me being as stubborn as I am, I got in my 4mi. My usual blister got bigger and now I have a new one on the heel of the opposite foot. My feet hurt! However, I am SOOOO happy I got my 4 miles in!!!!
Here is what I did today:

1mi run at 6mph (Yay! I can run a 10min/mi...lol)

.25mi run at 7.5mph

On Monday (2 days ago), I had a good run. I ran a 5k without walking. It took me 34:38. I ran the 5k race faster and I walked 3 minutes of it!!! I continued on to 4mi. I finished 4 miles in 46:27 and that included walking the first 1/4mi! I was happy with that :)
My husband's ship is out, so it's just me and the boys. They were driving me NUTS last night. Hopefully this evening is better. On a positive note, things are looking hopeful that we will be able to go to Wichita Falls for our next duty station! That is by far our first choice. It is instructor duty for my husband, so it's a great career move. It's also the closest we can get to Colorado. It's a great choice all around.......so fingers crossed! Hopefully we will know more within the next month.
