We have decided to keep a journal to track his progress. This is basically what we wrote for today:
-1st dose given at 8am, after breakfast
-9am- Came first time he was called. He read through a word list with NO complaining or whining! Normally, such things would take a good 20 minutes with a lot of struggle. Today it took 1 minute.
-10am- Rate of speech a lot slower than his usual million words per minute.
-Played same video game on his DS for over an hour!
-Sat on his butt in the chair through entire snack time! Usually he is on his knees, getting on and off the chair, and wiggling around.
-12:15am- HOMEWORK - No arguments to start. WHIPPED through 8 pages!!!! Did AWESOME. He stayed on the lines while tracing! Normally, he has a very hard time doing this! He wrote his name correctly and on the line! His handwriting was 1000% better! He kept doing more pages than required because he WANTED TO! He not only was doing a great job, he was very concerned about doing a great job. This is all so unheard of. I teared up while he was doing it because I just could not believe the improvement!
Here is a pic of his typical handwriting, from earlier this week, compared to today's handwriting!!! NIGHT AND DAY!

-12:45pm - Was working on extra homework (his doing, not mine!) He suddenly got very emotional over something that happened weeks ago. I made him stop doing homework for the day.
-@2pm - Asked to do more homework. (Who is this kid?)
-3pm - got very emotional over a broken lollipop
-3:30pm - speech noticeably fast again, still listening well
-5:30pm - back to 'normal.' Trouble following verbal instructions and easily distracted
-rest of the evening laid back, with no issues.
-appetite normal all day
We are so very excited over today! I can't even tell you how much easier everything was today. I just hope things continue to work out for him!
