I know they say to focus on one run at a time, but I am really nervous my training schedule is too much. I don't know how to tell. Monday I am supposed to do 4 miles. Yikes. I will try it though, and hopefully I didn't get in over my head.
For anyone who wants to look at it, go to the Runner's World Smart Coach calculator. Enter 40:00 for a 5k time, training for a 10K, currently doing 6-10 miles per week, moderate training level, and a 16wk schedule. Tell me if you think it is too much or if it will be ok. I was more or less only running again for 1 week prior to starting that schedule.

This morning, I literally cursed my alarm clock when it went off at 5:30am. I hit snooze once and was out the door around 5:45am. I thought this morning went ok; I felt like I was pushing myself. However, I finished my 2 miles in 13:32, a 13:16mile/min pace. I've done better since starting up again.
I can't wait to get past this initial struggling period where every run feels difficult.
