Ouch.

My range of motion still stinks. Yesterday, I told the physical therapist that I don't think my flexion is improving much despite me constantly working at it. They ended up trying to bend it for me. They pushed it as far as I could stand, at still only got to 90 degrees. That was HORRIBLY PAINFUL!!! By Thursday, I am supposed to be at a minimum of 110 degrees! Only being at 90 with force is frustrating.

I am a little nervous about the scar tissue. I guess it is a common complication of ACL surgery and is what is preventing my flexion. Sometimes they have to put you to sleep and force the knee to 'pop' all the scar tissue. Other times they go in and clean up the scar tissue. I am just hoping neither happens to me.

PT said they are going to have to start getting aggressive with getting my knee flexion back. That just sounds scary and I know it will be a painful experience! I wish I could just take a couple Vicodin before PT...but then driving wouldn't be safe!

So.....send some positive flexion thoughts my way!

Oh wow that sounds horrible. I'll keep my fingers crossed they don't have to do anything too painful.

Don't be scared. Deep breath. It's kind of like childbirth, you know it's going to take a lot of painful work, but to produce the most wonderful thing! Please keep us posted on how the PT goes. Good thoughts Jenn!
