First thing this morning, I had an appointment with Kaden's psychologist to find out the results of his ADHD testing. I have suspected it since he was 3yrs old or so, and it has not improved with age. Well, I was right. He has "moderate ADHD." He tested high for intelligence, and they told me he would have probably tested even higher if he had paid attention long enough...LOL. I am relieved to finally have the diagnosis. I hate people automatically thinking he is a 'bad' kid just because he struggles to stay in his seat. Now, we just have to wait for the complete report to come in, and then we will proceed from there.
Today is a beautiful day. It's 34 degrees (25 degree wind chill,) with a fine sleet like rain. It would have been a good excuse not to do today's run, but I really LOVE this weather! I am on Week 3, Day 1 of the C25k. It was more difficult, of course, but I did it, and at a pace I was happy with. I was wet when I got home, and hopped right in the shower. I LOVE how a hot shower feels on cold skin. Man, I really missed winter!!!!!!!
My painting supplies just arrived from Fed Ex. Gotta go tear into them, even though I don't know what half of them are used for yet...LOL!!!
